Our guides have come up with the perfect Hudson River Kayak Tour to spend your weekend afternoon. Join the Hudson Valley’s only TWO BREWERY KAYAK TOUR. Our Paddles and Pints Tour departs from the Newburgh Waterfront and heads out for an easy paddle across the Hudson River to Beacon.
Fish Kill Creek
2.5 Hours
Leaving from the Newburgh Waterfront this 2.5 hour tour will head east across the Hudson River to Denning’s Point just south of the City of Beacon. Our paddle will turn south as we paddle around the south end and make our way up into Fishkill Creek . This is the Hudson River “back country”, a calm peaceful stretch of water full of birds including bald eagles. Our paddle continues up to a beautiful waterfalls where we will take sometime just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Long Dock Beacon
2 Hours
Launching from the Newburgh Waterfront, our guides will lead you across the river to Long Dock Park in Beacon. Enjoy beautiful views of the Hudson River and the Hudson Highlands. The return paddle provides great perspective of Newburgh and the Newburgh Waterfront. This 2 hour tour is open to all levels and abilities.
Plum Point
2.5-3 Hours
This 5-mile round trip tour heads south from Newburgh to the sandy beaches of Plum Point. Plum Point offers the best view of the Hudson River and the Highlands. This is one of our longer paddles, although we schedule the trip to have the tides in our favor, paddling can become difficult for some. Please assess your ability carefully, previous paddling experience in recommended, if you have any questions, just let us know.
Kayak Beach Party
3.5 Hours
We provide the kayaks, instruction, guides, grill and music. You bring your own food to share and drinks. We spend the afternoon on a remote beach with amazing views of the Hudson Highlands. This 4 hour excursion is always a great time, bring friends, co-workers and family to this amazing summertime activity.
Sunset Paddle
2 Hours
We love our sunset paddles, typically the river calms down as we paddle over to the Beaches at Long Dock to enjoy the evening and watch the sunset as we head back to Newburgh. Bring your own snacks and drinks and be ready to relax, the sunsets are amazing from the river.
